Pace RC35 Elastomer Stack... Help please.

The bonded bottom plugs sounds tricky to me, so I'm not sure I'd want to do that myself. Is this the sort of conversion that you'd undertake? If so can you PM me a price. Please include the oil damper, because I don't have one. Thanks.

Where can I get a replacement seal kit for Marzocchi forks?

Re: Where can I get a replacement seal kit for Marzocchi for Wow, you guys are good! :D So am I right in thinking that when they start to weep you should replace both sets of seals? My stanctions are pretty oily, and the oil even dribbles down the lower leg on my bro's forks. Doh...

    WTD: 1" steerer tube off-cut

You know the bit you chop off when you fit a new (or old) set of forks. Does anyone have a 50-80mm long section of 1" tube in steel kicking about? Or maybe it is just me that keeps random pieces like this! I have off-cuts from bars, seat posts, steerer tubes etc, but none the right size...

The one and only "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread

Thanks, much appreciated. I'm half tempted to run them again. Did anyone ever do a kit to replace the elastomers with springs?

Nope, I don't know where to get them from. I guess you'd want to get the elastomers that suited your own weight anyway.

The one and only "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread

I'm thinking of parting with my trusty 1995 Pace RC-35 MXCDs which I have taken off my 1995 Marin Team Ti. I have owned them from new (cost me £440 if I remember correctly) and looked after them lovingly. When the elastomers eventually died I upgraded to a more modern pair of forks...

    1998 Yeti ARC AS-3

I totally agree guys - it needs to be ridden more. I'm making an effort to do that, and so far this year I have taken the Yeti out rather than my Marin every time I have gone for it a ride. I just need to do more rides now... :D

    1998 Yeti ARC AS-3

I used to ride a lot at school and uni, but got interested in other things since (discovered girls, motorbikes and cars!). Used to ride with a great bunch of guys at uni who I have failed to keep in touch with very well. Anyway I still ride the same bikes I did back then, and it seems that they...

    1995 Marin Team Titanium

Fair point, but I never take a camera when I go riding though. I'll have to get creative in the back garden. ;)

I can't believe that someone would paint a Team Ti orange! Nice resto. I think you have more OEM parts on your Team Ti and I owned mine from new!

    1995 Marin Team Titanium

Thanks. :D The brace is something I had bolted to my BMX to enable me to run DX V-brakes. I took off the canti bosses to use it as a brace, because it gives a good pivot point for the Onza brakes. It is far chunkier than needed but I haven't changed it because it works really well.
