That looks superb in black! I've got an 04 stumpy comp disc as my winter hard tail. Great bikes, although the only left from the original spec is the rear mech! Everything else has been upgraded.

Re: Manitou Minute SPV 100-130mm fork, rim or disc brake, 2 Damn! I have a pair of 100mm version of these forks which have a faulty spv valve, so replaced them with a pair of Rock Shox Recon 351 coil u-turns, otherwise I'd have had these as they are so plush. They are a really under rated...

what spokes are used on the 717 mavic wheel and are the XTR bearings still smooth and does the wheel need trued at all? cheers Greig. 8)

I'm from Dumfries. Gatehouse of Fleet is a bit of a trek west, otherwise I'd be telling you about the trails in the Leadhills, or there are ones round by Penpont/Scaur Water. There's also the coastal path which you can link nicely with Dalbeattie/Mabie forest to give a good day out. Moffat...
