I have a set of 700c P2s with a lovely 300mm steerer tube that I would like to convert to 26" wheels. So I guess I need to get the old bosses taken off and some new ones brazed on. Any ideas how much this is likely to cost and who might do such a thing. I don't seem to have any frame builders...

The LX shifters I fitted to my rebuilt Lava Dome were not shifting that reliably so I decided to have a look inside. I may have found the problem...I think at least it was smooth rather than crunchy peanut butter!
