Seatpost slipping down no matter what

I have 3 bikes with 29,4mm post: Yo, Verlicchi DH and Batavus. Today took delivery of two Kalloy SP 248 in silver and black for the Batavus. I do like the SP 248. It is period correct, 400mm long, but probably not fancy enough for a Yo.

    WTB Speedmaster brake pad replacements

The pads are glued into the holder. The idea was that when worn you send them back to WTB and they glue new pads in. I doubt whether they still offer the service. Living in Europe I decided to simply buy regular koolstop pads.

For Sale Miyata Century, complete bike in mint condition

It is a frameset with a selection of non original parts. In Holland it was common that Koga-Miyata sold left over new old stock frames at some point to bikeshops. Some shops specced the frames with parts and moved them on and other frames were sold customers who specced their frame with what...

    Offroad Pro-Flex 752

For me it is the small conical one that works and the cylindrical did not, but my stem uses an aditional metal plate I see not fitted to your stem. As devoted rigid bike rider I am not the biggest fan of suspension, but I am impressed by the affordability of this system.

I promised a couple pics of the other suspension stem I have. If anyone knows what it is please let me know.

    Offroad Pro-Flex 752

Doesn't the little box contain two small (right size for Flexstem) and two somewhat higher elastomers?

Nice. That are the old elastomers? Btw a while ago I bought a Pinerello with suspension stem that looks similar to the Flexstem, but with a steel spring instead of elastomer. I will post a pic soon.

I experienced the same with my old elastomer. Hard as a rock and I were able to break it with my hands.

I have tried the stem with the new elastomer on a bike. It is a skateboard truck bushing with durometer/hardness 92 'medium hard'. When I put my full weight on the bar not much is happening. I think I can use a bushing softer than 92.

Seatpost slipping down no matter what

Had the same with my Yo. Changed the Moby for a Heylight post and the Twister for a XTR QR and the issue was solved. Sliding saddles and posts are a common issue for me.

    Offroad Pro-Flex 752

The Pro-Flex 752 uses 3 elastomers in the rear triangle. Dimensions for each elastomer: Height 16mm Diameter outside 32mm Diameter inside 13mm The elastomers in my frame have seen better days.

    Offroad Pro-Flex 752

I have removed the tail. I now know that the large center bolt has to be tightened to lock the bits and arm in place. The two smaller bots have to allow some movement of the swingarm.

The swingarm/chainstays are connected with the front triangle with 3 bolts. One long m8 bolt in de center of the pivot and two m6 bolts on the cromoly swingarm on both sides. Below picture shows the center bolt with one of the two smaller bolts below it. I would like to have the right amount...

    Frame failure experiences

If there is enough room to extend the slot and the tube is the right diameter for a seperate clamp, cutting a bit of sounds like an option worth consideration if you would like to use the frame in the future.

    Frame failure experiences

I do have the same with a steel frame. I will cut the seattube and extent the slot. I can do that because the seattube extends quite a bit above the toptube and seatstays.

Very nice. I know your 752 from your thead. I understand there are several sources for the replacement elastomers. Do you like yours? From the pic I see they have a larger diameter.
