    Hi chaps, i decided not to bother with a front mech in the end. I got a FSA Moto Mega EXO crank with external BB, 32 tooth ring and bashring instead will post pics up soon, not in keeping with the retro theme but looks really good and gives me a decent low and high gear. cheers, dave.

    thanks, i have a dual pull xtr front mech with shim to fit seat tube but i cant sit the front mech low enough down to fit the chain through without fouling the lower pivot??? could you tell me what front mech you are running please? thanks, dave.
