Ok.. 1991.. But it doesn't figure it hasn't got the tension adjust in. That's confusing me. The egg vs. parallel is these adjusters. It looks like that I thought was 1990 only, applies to 1991 too. I was sure I'd seen the egg ones before that though.

Possible, but its early ‘90 print so could be a rev date. The shifter pic has parallel adjusters so points to 90. ‘91s came with egg shaped adjusters.

Just got a hold of this. FD-M735 M650 M550 M500 M400 M300: 1990/1991, covers all the common FD retro models, and nowhere to be found on shimano's site. Has M071/M091/M092 levers in it, and interestingly no tension adjust on the mech spring, so I guess that was '91 on right?
