Been mega busy at work and too tired to browse at night - well nothing with lots of words anyway :) Hardly been on my bike since September, lost all distance signs of fitness too. road bike is ridable but everything else needs a strip and grease (including myself :) )

Re: Did the Ryvoan/Sluggan loop today, sunshine all day and now sitting in an Indian restaurant drinking ice cold lager. Amazing day but pretty knackered now. Aiming to do Glen Eanich tomorrow so it should be an early night.

Re: Personally I would do it if it got a lot of beach/bad weather use or if it was ultra thin like prestige. Generally all I do with mine is spray a bit of gt85 into the downtube and the little holes at the end of the tubes once in a while.... or buy titanium and stop worrying :)

A plurality of anecdotes follow... I've seen several cracked helmets and had a school buddy in a coma for 3 months, all the people with cracked helmets walked away from speedy off road smashes, a few involving impact with rocks, the guy in a coma hit his head of a kerb with no helmet on whilst...

The midgies are out in huge numbers at the moment, I've been eaten alive on recent evening rides.

I was being generous with my conversion - 45euros posted, 15 for the magazine, 15 for the supplement and 15 for postage. I will continue my trawl for one elsewhere I think.
