Re: another project 1990 tbg/kona cindercone splatter with p Hi Longun, fantastic job you've done there which I'm sure must have been alot of fun. I have a question for you... I'm considering doing my own Lava Dome DIY splatter at some point in the distant future but was curious as to what...

    1993 Klein Attitude Rainforest

KLEIN ENVY!!! How can one man be jammy enough to own a Rainforest AND a Mardi Gras?!?! Seriously though, fair play to you. Your builds and photos always do these great bikes justice. Also - the paint looks great from where I'm looking.

Bike of The Month June 2013 - The Poll

OK - really don't know who to vote for: Goat, Ibis or Yeti? Truly three of my all time faves... Gotta say I would LOVE to take that Yeti for a spin around town just to see the looks on peoples faces although I realise that's not really a good criteria for picking a winner!

    1993 Lava Dome Headtube Size?

Hello - would greatly appreciate it if anyone could answer this question for me - I can't for the life of me find the answer after much searching on the web... Does the '93 Lava Dome have a 1 inch or 1 1/8th inch headtube?? Cheers

    Personal Unicorn bikes (What's yours?)

Ibis Silk ti or Bow ti - without doubt. There are plenty of others that I'd happily sell my gran for but those two are the ones that would really fit the bill for me on a practical level. Interesting to see everyone elses by the way - good to see we all have completely different taste!

Ibis-bow-ti Frame only - priced to gulp?

Haha - just noticed this thread - I remember noticing the frame on ebay straight away! I'm SO glad it was WAAAY too big for me otherwise I'd have been either a) tearing my hair out b) robbing a bank or c) selling my grandma. I think the price was reasonable to be fair and would probably have...

    Matt Black P7

What a great project - I have (I think) the exact same frame which is pencilled in for a similar restoration. It's my town bike at the moment so gets no off-road usage, the components are just the spare ones I happen to have lying around and the paint is just a deliberately unappealing rattle...

Wow, praise indeed - thankyou Tc. Yes, that's a common problem - getting the missus onto the water permanently is not always easy... It's a fine life but I have no fridge, freezer, washing machine, tv or central heating. I have a porta potti instead of a toilet and my hot water currently...

    Identify my Orange please

I'd say P7 too. It's got the diamond shapes around the bottle boss areas and the reinforcement at either end of the headtube.

Tc, yes I do! For over three years now. It's a fifty foot canal boat. 7 foot wide. No permanent mooring and I've been all over the country in it. Settled on the North West for now due to the terrain up here. Mam Tor and Kinder Scout Plateau are the local riding spots :) It's also a good way...

BoTM June 2013 - Nominations Please

Yep, just perused the very impressive build thread for the Syn-crossis Goat and it's got my vote so far for sure (although my German isn't up to much I'm afraid) - the chevron painted stem is really doing it for me! Beautiful colours and component choice too.
