I have a few 93 Marin's, just waiting for the decals to arrive to complete a couple of them. I know what you mean about the colour scheme, I think the red really looks good along side it.

Best bet would be to check the frame number, there are a couple of threads on decoding Marin frame numbers on the site. I have always found them to be reliable.

Marin Decal on the frame looks like a 94 but not sure about the forks. Looking at the catalogue the forks and stem are a different colour for most of the range.

Unfortunately I don't have a spare but I think it could be the same as this one off my 97 Mount Vision? Hopefully the picture helps track one down. It fits into the dropout and is secured with a back plate. The only identification is the A-pro. Sorry I couldn't be more use.

Thanks, a lot of work went into them. Sad thing is my wife says I have to get rid of some of my bikes. I am agonising over what to keep and what to move on.

These are my polished frame Marin's. I still can't believe that after the first one I went back for more. There is a 97 Mount Vision in the shed but I need a bit of a break from stripping and polishing.

Nearly finished this 93 Indian Fire Trail. Final polish then the pedals to complete the bike. I am not sure what decals to put on. I prefer both the 92 and 94 decals to the 93. Any advice would be appreciated.

The old Zolatone finish with the neon paint are the best looking Marin bikes in my opinion. Good job there.
