Mudguards fitted, broke ribs a few weeks ago so not many more miles in. Rando rack and decalleur on order. I want to change the bars, thinking rando bars or maybe dirt drops.

How rounded is the axle bolt? Is it still useable?

Yeah just the shoes but I’m worried the NOS ones will be hard. My current (original) ones at the front sound like they have grit embedded in them (which they don’t).

What are my options for m737 brake pads? They’re shorter than v pads and they look longer than road pads

Handling the off road just as well an on! Berthoud mudguards arrived yesterday. I’ve measured them up and ordered some solid stainless spacers to give it all a clean line.

Record levers fitted, xt rear mech and some cinelli bars and stem. 1.75 tyres fitted, much better size. Also threw on some hope pedals. I’ve got some 60mm Berthoud mudguards but they’re too big so will need to order some 50mm ones.

What tyre clearance are you getting up front? I’ve ordered a pair of paselas for mine but already wishing I went with Rene herse.
