    If I were a Risse-Engineer, I would make a non-flexible connection to the strut, and some kind of hinge-plate that screws directly to the frame, and sell this together with the shock. (sorry for my english)

    Am I the only one who thinks that this set-up will last for about 10 rides max? No hinges, only some kind of rubber hinge at the bottom which will be even more stiff in the cold Equals huge bending forces to the shock. You can also burn your money....

    Ahhh, you noticed. Many peolpe ask what the battery is for... Yes, got me a motor from China, put a 36 V battery into a bottle, controller is hidden under the carrier. Some magnets on the small chainring and a sensor at the bottom bracket to activate the motor as soon as I am pedalling...

    I guess the aluminum inserts are glued into the steel cranks. As far as i know, the glue can withstand temperatures of max 180 °C, 200°C only for a very short time. Powder is burnt in at above 200°C I would not take the risk of powdercoating and respray them instead. Or am i just bad...

    Best looking? AMP, as posted here. Absolutely beautifull AND functional. San Andreas. A true classic. Manitou. Loved that bike back then. Very clean look. In this order.
