Hi all i have a Francesco Moser Super Prestige frame but the Columbus tube decal is missing, can anyone help id it i think ive possibly found a match

@Woody662011 I would think that hamster is correct. Check your seat post diameter; if 27.2mm it is "SL" (usually 57cm and smaller frames), if 27.0 it is "SP" (usually 58cm and larger frames). The headbadge may help date it; I believe the Moser "headshot" is pre-80s ('77-'79?); or at least very...

LERI "Mirella" bike Tubing designation AQ 35

I would assume that a seamless tubeset isn't the worst stuff out there. Even Columbus made some decent seamed tubing if I recall correctly. I am passing on it; there is a Batavus Professional in my size selling for less anyways.

LERI "Mirella" bike Tubing designation AQ 35

    French Bottom Brackets

Thank you for your input! I have an 80's Spanish frame that I was trying to date and was told it was pre-circa '85 due to the French BB. I figured each builder more than likely would use up on hand shells so there would be nothing definitive given the many artisan builders still out there during...

    French Bottom Brackets

Is anybody knowledgeable as to when framebuilders/manufacturers stopped using French threading on BB shells? I am trying to date a frame and was curious if they had stopped (if they even did) using that design at some specific point in time or did it occur over many years?
