    Roberts White Spider in Peckham

Absolutely 👍🏻 I’ve sent him a message. Might be worth me buying for the fork and selling the frame on. Shame, but the frame is too small for me.

    Roberts White Spider in Peckham

Looking at the new listing with the new photos I think maybe you’re right.. I was look at the original listing on your first post.

    Roberts White Spider in Peckham

The fork alone is worth £450, or at least it was prior to the recent dip in the retro market. At £400 for both, it’s a total no brainer. I suspect whomever bought it from the original advert needed the fork for another bike (I haven’t seen it relisted for sale) and has over estimated the value...

    Haro

Tange licensed the design from Keith Bontrager, so they were kind of doing the same thing themselves, but paying to do so 😂

    Haro

That’s not a Tange Switchblade, you can tell by the crown and the dropouts. It’s a ‘Switchfork’ which was a homage to the Tange version.

    Marin Pine Mountain Browning

As far as I know, the fork was never sold separately, so you’ve no real chance of ever having a complete bike. Even if you found a fork, you’d be well over the price of the other one before you got anywhere near the same condition.

    Kona Kilauea frame

No forks, dog collar or seat clamp unfortunately. Once you’ve found those it’d probably have cost you more than a full bike.

    Pace RC100

That sold far more cheaply than I though it would, I missed the end of the auction assuming it’d go at least double the final sale price. Gutted!

That’s very cool… looks small though, would it suit me at just over 6ft? Thanks

    Condor Dave Yates Diablo

With all due respect, the ‘upgrades’ you have made have reduced the value of this bike rather than increased it I’m afraid.

Wanted Interesting Frames - late 80s early 90s

Looks like the turquoise one is probably a low end 1989 Fusion unfortunately, so not one for me. Thanks for your help.

Wanted Interesting Frames - late 80s early 90s

Right, thanks. These are measured centre to centre in the brochure, so the white one is probably too small unfortunately. Any way to confirm what the turquoise one is? I suspect it’s a lower end model due to the rack mounts. Annoyingly all of the rocky mountain brochures I can find are in...

Thank you, I like the top one (white blizzard), is the 19.5” to the centre of the top tube, or the top? 👍🏻

Wanted Interesting Frames - late 80s early 90s

Thanks, I nearly contacted you re this frame via your for sale ad for it on Facebook as you’re not far from me. I remember reading about these in MBA back in the day. The price is good, I’m just not sure I can live with that dent… I’ll make some enquiries to see if I can source original decals...

Thank you, but that’s much too small and too modern for me I’m afraid 👍🏻
