The tire logos- I´ve made them disappear. But don´t worry, it´s only pixels. I´m sure they´re fine, unfortunately.
(Check the first post. That you didn´t notice - does that mean I am right or wrong?)
Another nice frame, if a bit neglected. Recently an immaculate a la Carte with the iconic jellybean paintjob sold for less than the 950 it was offered on ebay. One in bad condition, but complete bike with Bontrager fork is on offer for 950, but hasn´t sold for 2 years now (it´s really bad...
Agreed, it´s basically just the frame. Large frames are quite rare though, at least that´s how I explain it for myself.
Any bets if it will stay this colour? I see it being powder coated turquoise faster than you can say Accutrax.
Hi there,
nice set you have there! It´s nice to see an earlier frame with U brake, but it appears to be missing its press fit BB. This is challenging to find or at least a bit expensive for what it is. So I´d estimate the frame alone incl the seat collar at about 300 £/$/€. With the fork maybe...
As Mr Tooty said, even new ones have a bit of play. I´d say 1,5-2mm at the tip of the lever is normal.
But it could also be that parts are missing or it´s not assembled correctly. I remember a thin copper washer between the fixed and the moving part often to be missing.
At 4.3k$ it went for about as much as early Yetis have been sold for in the recent past.
Hopefully we´ll see a bit more from this wonderful bike if the new owner is willing to show it.

Some info from second spin for those who are not sure what they are looking at (like me)...
