That's fabulous! Somehow a lot of Titanium builds end up making the bike look heavy ....you've kept the 'lightness'; it's almost as nice as my Lightspeed ;)

Thanks to help from here, I'm after an Athena, Chorus or Record chain ring. As long as it's 39 tooth, 135BCD and 5 hole fixing that would be great. Thank you :)

Retro newbie

I need a 39T chain ring on my late '80s/early '90s Record set up and assumed I'd be looking for a Record chain ring to keep things 'right'. BUT .... I came across an article the other day that said that there are no differences in the inner chain rings across the Record, Chorus and Athena...

As per the title ..... has anyone got a decent Campagnolo Record 39T 135BCD 5 hole chain ring? I could use alternatives (and my budget might force me to!) but if I'd rather stick to Record if I can. Thanks :)

Venhill are usually pretty helpful so maybe give them a ring. They also do a sleeve that fits over a 6mm barrel resulting in a barrel of 8mm x 9mm. Perhaps that would work with the cable you bought ... ? N8 NYLON NIPPLE SLEEVE 8 mm DIA. (venhill.co.uk)

I've happened across a few sellers on eBay for this - and now I'm looking I can't find them! Actually, I found one ... Velo-Bitz - hopefully the link will work. It looks as though they've got grey but one of the others I found before had lots of colours so it may be worth a longer trawl through...

Interesting that Daccordi may not let anyone else use their dropouts - a good start, thank you. The frame and forks are not a matched 'pair'; I've put them together to build up the bike. The forks have been kicking around the garage for over 20 years and were passed on as 'no longer wanted' in...

Can anyone help me identify these forks please? Unfortunately I built them up before taking pictures! They have Daccordi drop outs - does that make them Daccordi or their drop outs only? The shoulders slope and there are no other markings, lugs, bosses, eyelets, etc. They are probably early/mid...

Thank you for the feedback. I'll try the VMC guys but price is always going to be an issue, it's only a couple of bar ends after all! Satin stainless would probably work OK as the frame has a brushed finished. Maybe the fact it's not tough is a bonus - if it doesn't look right it'll be easy to...
