Isn't there a danger that other photo hosting sites will start charging sometime in the future? I've setup a simple sharing site on my own hosting to see how I get on, at least I have full control over what happens to my photos..

I reckon the fun police shutting us down early had more to do with the houses nearby, we should have bribed them with beer...

Blackmailing is one thing but the amount they want to charge is quite staggering. My web space hosting only costs £80/year with virtually unlimited bandwidth, it's simple enough to setup and share photos embedded into threads. That's the way I'll be heading from now on.

I'm looking for a decent image hosting script to host on my own domain I already have.

The worst thing about this is the countless number of threads all over the internet that now do not have pictures, how many of the original posters will go back to re-link? Very few I imagine.

Re: Not sure when I joined but it was a while ago. Is there a quicker way of moving photos other than downloading one-by-one? It's the re-linking of threads on various forums that's the biggest pain. How much are they planning to charge?

Is this being rolled out slowly as mine PB account seem seems to be as always has been, slow but working as normal.
