Although this is a 'retro' forum, I think that the popularity of 'Reader's Wives' sections came to an end in the late 90's! 😆 (she is a bit taller than 5'6 though) I'll post a pic when I'm next at my garage.

I have this bike! Same size, 25.5'. I'm 6'5 and need the seat pretty much as low as it can go to make it work for me. Its a nice ride though - I added a few bits to tweak it a little. Still playing with the handlebar height (hence the ugly stack) and I want to fit a straight seatpost eventually.

As per title, I'm after a QR seatpost clamp 35mm to fit a cable hanger that has a 40mm opening. I have a wanted ad for a Trek System 1/2 already but have had no joy yet. It's for a 1993 build so period correct-ish would be a bonus (Dia Compe etc) Thanks

I'd love to take this on if you're willing to post (let me know postage costs if so). I have a few bits ready for another build I was about to start before realising that I need a 25' frame rather than the 23.5' that I have. Could I just check - is the BB English threaded?

As per title I'm looking for Tioga Alchemy in silver or similar 1 1/8 threadless. Must be vgc or nos and roughly period correct for a 1993 build (I appreciate most are threaded in this era) Thanks
