    Fatty headshok as rigid?

In a thread I saw somebody that did that... basically ditched the outer 1.5" tube the linear bearings and the internals and used the inner tube as the steering tube, apparently it's very close to a true 1 1/8" fitting the crown race was a little tricky. basically a straight blade pepperoni fork.

    Nuke Proof Reactor

Well Roy, there was one up for sale not too long ago (eBay). The seller was asking for $2899 or best offer and it sold... don't know if for the asking price or not but the seller was a fellow retro-biker. hope this helps.

A bit of a long-shot here but here it goes: Does anyone here have this Chris King plus 5mm 1" base-plate? The Chris King part number is: PHS519 I have already contacted CK and they do not have this obscure part anymore. I need it in order to be able to use an AMP fork on an Ibis Mojo frame...

I'm interested in the stem... one question though: is it for 25.4mm handlebar or is it the modern 31.8 mm handlebars?

Show us how you fixed crack on Manitou FS

Mr. Danson this is an amazing write-up! So you're basically saying that adding a chamfer to the headtube combined with the headset relief it might save my frame from a cracked death? I shall certainly try it out.

    Is this IBIS Mojo legit?

I recently saw this IBIS Mojo on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Rad-Way- ... Sw~xRgOwr7 It looks legit however it does have a regular cable stop and not the signature "Handjob" cable stop. Did Ibis make some very early Mojos without the signature cable stop? The paint and decals look...

Impact driver will make this an easy job, because you're only using your strength to push the tool in and the driver does the rotational work.

Naw, I don't have much time... 2 kids and just bought a cabin in need of renovation and a new job. Besides I was messing around with my frame and realized that one of the chain-stays is bent around the area where the brake stud is... now I might have to send the fame to Frank the Welder or...

Sold -Schwinn homegrown factory Ltd frame

Re: Schwinn homegrown factory Ltd frame That is a fine frame! I have one just like it (same size too) One of the best aluminum hardtails out there (maybe minus the proprietary headset... that could be considered problematic) Btw. Knee friendly stems without the protruding bolts?

Avid SAAGO stems were pretty cool. They use a funky top cap bolt down expander wedge thingy with 3 bolts. Another similar setup was also used by Sweet Parts stems (if you're into tubular steel that is) super clean look, no bolts on the sides anywhere.
