    I think you're confusing the issue by intermixing discussion of when things first appeared on handmade bikes that numbered only in the dozens ("Series" Breezers and any Cunningham) and when those innovations appeared in mass-production.

    What makes you say that? It's not. As for its size, the original listing (refreshingly) gives very precise and useful information on that: 33.8" stand over and 30.75" saddle height (presumably measured from the BB along the seat tube axis). I think most would agree that this WAS designed...

    I'd hope the buyer would be one of those --- or at least willing to do it if it fit him/her. Far be it from me to criticize someone for buying a bike for "collecting purposes" that doesn't fit (as I'm certainly guilty of that), but two points: 1.) at least this isn't one of the frail...
