    Squirrel chaser they're Kelly lever mounts used to be made in Oregon USA . Allows you to have brifters with out the faff. I am sure l had simplex retro fit gear levers then and any brake lever you like. Got them on my folding bike and titanium Audax bike, really like them

    Hamster it's a George longstaff one wheel drive outer conversion. Saddle bag is full of handy crap . Here it is with matching mudguards and a Trykit conversion for the sad people. 😄🤣🤣

    Yes Yes it is a 1951 Claud Butler Avanti Courier Special. I had the details/ frame no checked on here . I think it started off burgundy but it's hard to tell. I did want a paint job that's" eye catching " but looks classic.

    My 1951 Claud Butler Avanti Courier Special with George longstaff conversion axel. Paid £ 250 : 00 for it on the understanding I done it up , did not split it and rode it like l stole it . Rides really well with the 1"1/8" top tube .

    That one handles well and stops on a sixpence , with the twin front discs and rear drum . It is slower around corners than my delta trikes and is a bit heavier . But it gets good traction and is great as a winter trike . Alas it really is too small for me , so is off on long term loan .

    Spankyfart the water off the wheels normally misses you on a Tadpole . Unlike a delta trike , were you get wet armpits off the rear wheels .

    Sorry meant a brooks professional . Spa cycles , leather saddles are worth a look got a couple of Aires on trikes , take over a thousand mile to break in mind .

    Some of the older lads were still using brooks swifts on longer events 12 / 24hour time trials ., 50/100 milers .
