I think this is how it works? I’m forgetting which part is the mystery? Anyway, thank you all. I took these wonderful items and 3 disc brake brackets. I replaced them with more items, a snap of which I’ll send to Thom04, mostly for my own record when I can’t find something in the future 😂

Is this frame any good? Might be from around 2000 based on some very limited research. Looks to be 700x tubing and has canti bosses and disc mounts

I’ve seen some nice dual stanchion boxxers and SID race on eBay for £250 plus a few others for over £100. I’ve also sunk money into my x verts so I really should get them going!
