That’s exactly the sort of range I would expect and if you look at other cat (96 maybe) that’s around what’s quoted! I would weigh mine but I can’t be bothered to strip them just to weigh them tbh 🤣

Yeah I just can’t see it tbh, I’ve got a 97 Kula and a 97 KK and a 93 Explosif and the Kula is without doubt the lightest

That’s a very good point about frame size, I assume these quoted weights would be medium.

Can anyone explain how a Ti, Alloy and steel frame can all weigh the same? Surely the Hot would be the heaviest? This is from the 97 cat Thanks

Yeah my mechanic suggested a mullet 27.5 set up on the front but a Quick Look at EBay and I couldn’t find a single 27.5 fork that didn’t have a tapered steerer!!

thanks, I’ve got a couple of pairs of Fox F100 from that era but I want to do a more modern build on this one tbh to make it different I’m looking at these, I know they will be heavier and 120mm might be a bit much but I think they will look really cool and ride well with modern disc wheels
