    1992 Rocky Mtn blizzard

Beautiful bike! I agree, the Michelins look great with the decal kit. It's hard to find a bike those look good on. Judging by the size of the head tube, you either have a 20" or the 21.5" I have an 18.5" and it's much smaller :? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=307901&start=20

1996 Rocky Mountain Blizzard 18.5" SOLD

up for sale is a 18.5" 96 Blizzard frame Was $150 USD, now $75 SOLD It was used as a commuter for a few years so it has some scratches and scuffs and chips and is missing most of the decals. It does have a small dent on the side of top tube on the non-drive side. And one of the water bottle...

1992 Rocky Mountain Blizzard --- NEW PICS Feb 12

All black looks very nice! Killer paint job! I think that's the 1st of its kind. 8) Was the black and green powder coated or traditional painting? I'm still trying to find a good place in Alberta to do powder coating with two colours. :?

    1988-1989 Rocky Mountain Blizzard Slope/Team - DONE P8

Looks Amazing! The decals turned out very nice! I'm curious if the decals have a clear backing to them or are still on white vinyl?

    1992 Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt

Looks Great! The black syncros stem will look good on it! (but that race face ti is a keeper for another build) 8) It would look very nice with some mag 21s painted black to match! or Red :)

    1995 Rocky Mountain Vertex T.O.

Very nice! One of my favourites too...so much so that I picked up one too! :D My problem is I have too many favourites  Yes, some yellow Magura Race Lines would look great on it and the original spec Judy SL match nicely! I've had a few Vertexes over the years and they ride great...

1997 Rocky Mountain Altitude T.O. --- NEW PICS Feb 11

Re: 1997 Rocky Mountain Altitude T.O. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! I think it's one of the best paint jobs of all the vintage Rockies! The transparent red powder coat is cool, it allows you to see the detail of the welds and tubing. 8)

    1994 Rocky Mountain Altitude

Thanks! Nice pair of Altitudes! The small frame looks in great shape! I also have some old race pictures for reference too. I noticed the original mag 21's were grey, but I think the nickelite colour looks a bit nicer with this frame...still debating to put a black fork brace on. I did pick up...

    1994 Rocky Mountain Altitude

Re: Re: I quite like building wheels, I used to do it often when I worked at shops, now just do a couple a year. I'm not too fussy on spoke count on my retro bikes, but more so on my newer race bikes for weight savings. :D For this wheelset, I'll likely use 2.0/1.8 spokes. I found one good...

Charlie Brown Christmas '94 Brodie Sovereign Colour Pics P6

Re: Charlie Brown Christmas Brodie Sovereign (1994) finished p5 Very nice build! 8) I'm surprised that the cable stop wasn't fixed before Toxic Herald repainted the frame. It seems like that would be the perfect time to braze on a new one...was it just overlooked by the previous owner?

    1994 Rocky Mountain Altitude

Re: Re: The previous owner kept the original Hugi wheelset that came stock on this bike so I'm not sure what they were, but the catalogue says 32H. The XTR wheels that I got with this bike are both 32H...they were laced onto newer mavic x517 rims, so I am switching to some mavic 231's or...

Great bikes! The Brodie is really nice, and very nice TiBolt! It seems like there are more TiBolts in Germany than there are in Canada! I would love for one to turn up around here soon :D Back in the day I had 3 friends racing on tibolts...I wish I knew where those ended up. :?

    1994 Rocky Mountain Altitude

Finally an update! :) I ended up doing some paint touch up in areas mainly on the stays and bottom bracket area to protect the frame. It's not perfect, but looks better than before. Also got some Syncros parts to accompany the RaceFace cranks/headset. Now just need to add a bit of XTR parts...
