This one is for my 11 year old son. Think it’s a 1991. Good enough condition and price, plus it was only minutes from my door. Even got a lock with both keys. Gonna just go through it front to back. Don’t know much about them but looks quite nice.

Thanks. I did do a search but for every 1 picture I found of mine, I found 20 of the other later frame all saying year either 1999/2000. Also I haven‘t found a link that actually works that gives any other information. Was hoping someone on here might have personal knowledge of the original specs.

BB was the last to be done. All the other areas were in amazing condition considering, even the wheels. BB was the worst but only from a grease perspective, hardly any wear. Good news!

Ive seen a couple of 2001 for sale but completely different frame and groupset.

Ive just bought this for £90 off eBay and was wondering if anyone has any info on this particular frame. Other frames I have found look different. The owner said it bought it somewhere between 99-01. Any ideas? Thanks

Just picked up this Claud Butler Spectre to get started on. I believe its a 1989 as its got Mountain LX on it? All cables and chain are pretty much seized. Needs a bit of TLC and the rear wheel is covered in cement. It does look very original though.

Good spot. Not supplied as standard but I much preferred them over the originals.
