Pog could probably run with one crank arm at the moment. Through the classics and Giro he has looked like he has the ability to make a decisive move whenever he chooses. Will be interesting to see how his form holds for the Tour.
Shorter cranks…maybe…has that feel about it. Not much evidence, lots of opinion (including mine!). As long as people are comfortable, happy and safe (unlike the really cut down bars) it’s all good, right?

Just checked my Brompton which is 170mm so I am running a 1cm difference in pedal circle diameter (there must be a better term for this?) between bikes with no bother - but then I do set up my saddle carefully (height, fore/aft etc).
