It’s the ultimate for me.. I have reached nirvana with this one!

I found the chainset on U.S eBay in good used condition. I then sanded out the deepest scratches before investing in a bench grinder polishing wheel set. There are some things that only a machine can do! The rings were then all stripped and re- anodised.

White industries chainset Well, the gold bolts definitely give it that XC Pro Ultralite look. Annoyingly, I.D double chainring bolts didn’t fit so I had to re-use the Cr-Mo nuts. And it appears that no-one makes 14mm long alloy inner bolts anymore?

Hubs First saw these on a lovely candy red Funk on here somewhere...had to source a pair 8)

Re: I’m actually going mirror finish with black. The Sthenos are dark coating and I’m using DT double butted spokes in black. Blackwall tyres too. I did consider anodising the hubs and crank arms but they look so good with mirror finish!
