Might have a go at de anodising these today and polishing them a bit. I do like to use what I have where I can but a bit rough for leaving as they are.

Won’t use these so maybe someone can. Mavic 117 SUP 32h Ceramic Rim £38 Hope front hub 32h £34 Rim is in good condition. Front hub wants bearings or at least a grease. (Broken rear hub FREE with the front) freehub and axle looks ok but wants bearings too. Price includes UK postage.

Well they’re clean at least. They have an alloy damper which is apparently a good thing. It works too.. that’s definitely a good thing. I’ll work out what elastomers I need for them later & I presume they need the foam rings at the wiper seals, none in there currently. Hopefully all the bits...

I quite enjoy it. I reckon I spent about 5 hours doing it maybe with various techniques. I don’t know if they stay shiny but I’m thinking of trying some car paintwork sealant on it. You just spray in by hand and polish after a few minutes from what I remember. I’ve got a bit of RTS frame to test...
