Re: Oh my god, what have I done??!!... I opened Pandora's box! Your well-researched reply made me realise that I can do away with almost my entire bike collection since all except my PY10 are built with Reynolds tubesets in Imperial dimensions  I think I need a malt now...

    SKS Rennkompressor, Review And Modifications.

Re: Nice modification of an already great pump! The only thing I have to do every once in a while is replace the pump head rubber seal (€ 0,65). My over 30-year-old example has no clamping mechanism in the pump head, you just push it onto the valve. However, you overlooked one essential thing...

    Unknown track - Mercian? Gazelle?

Re: I don't think it is a Gazelle. I've never seen a Champion Mondial with Nervex lugs like these. Wrap-around seat stays are a bit different too and the four-digit frame number does not suggest a Gazelle either...

Which groupset for this 1975 Gazelle Champion Mondial?

Which groupset for this 1975 Gazelle Champion Mondial?

Enfin, two years later… Enfin, two years later… I finally built the pale-gold A-frame. Went for the Zeus option, although different from the initial composition. Since the post two years ago I got a Zeus Criterium world logo crankset, world logo front derailleur en older Zeus Gran Sport...

Suntour Superbe High Flange REAR Hub 126mm

Re: Date codes are TD (april 1977) and TE (may 1977) for the front resp. rear derailleurs. The shifters do not have a date code but are the matching ones. The cranks are of the 1977-1983 type but do not have any code other than "G-4" which does not seem to be a data reference. I have £120 in...

Re: If you zoom in and look at the dropouts you see a quite large silver bit, larger than a chromed dropout would have. And if you look closely at the headtube, there are no lug lines. Here are the full resolution scans: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B32pc ... GNHcGgtcFU...
