    Lugged True Temper, interesting. Braze-ons look quite unique to me, (the brake bridge & canti bosses). The paint is reminiscent of a Diamond Back Axis 92, the frame not so. [edit] the more I look at it, the more it looks handmade, possibly UK built, though the paint looks a bit creative...

    New bikes are only assembled at a factory. They are not ready or safe to ride despite what some manufacturers or shops will tell you. So any new bike will only perform as well as the person giving it a PDI/setup is trained. Also to note, many bikes even above the 'budget' price range cut...

    M6 were obsolete by 93 I think, certainly weren't in widespread use/sale by that point. 231CD if staying true to 1993 IMO. 231 is lighter too.

    Who are we using for paint jobs nowadays?

    Re the post suggesting powder coating. Sure it can be done well & look alright, but it does kinda permanently coat the frame for life. I've seen it burnt off of steel frames but removing it is not an easy or kind process, esp on an alu frame. Best avoided on a Klein I'd say.
