How to run full length cable outers without guides?

The only thing that beats gaffer tape for sheer functionality is a piece of wire, imho. But I'm hoping to turn this in to a bling ride for about town. I want to run full outer along the top tube to the brakes and rear derailleur. Hard to see in the picture, but there is only cable guide for one...

Ok. Here's another solution. Can't imagine they will stay stuck though. https://jagwire.com/products/small-part ... -on-guides

How to run full length cable outers without guides?

Re: Honestly hadn't thought of those! They're a bit too retro aren't they? I want 2 cables running on the top tube, so... I need something that will go on the stays as well. :|

Anodised dome/button head bolts for water bottle mounts

I'm looking for some bling bolts for the various mounts on the bike. I'm not interested in regular bolts. I want the dome shaped heads. Something like what they sell here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M5-Bolt-Dome ... 7e03c02ed7 I want anywhere from 2-10 in 10 or 15mm lengths in yellow/gold...

How to run full length cable outers without guides?

As the title says, on a retro frame that doesn't have the guides for full length outers, or even any guides at all in some places. Preferably something unobtrusive, simple and that won't destroy the paint. Please don't say zip ties!

    Q Factor, quack quack..

Re: Aww sh!te! I thought my bike was perfect and now you've got me running to the shed   Seriously though, my favourite advice is to measure the width of your feet when you walk, say, on a sandy beach, ignoring the strange looks from normal folk! That should give you a...

Rim Tape - What's your style?

Re: I hate cloth tape because it soaks up water when you go through streams. Plastic adhesive tape reinforced with fibres so it does not stretch so much. I forget the brand, but any hardware store should have it. You probably won't find the right width, but after you cut it to the right width...

    Cranks available in 172.5mm?

The SpaCycle crank looks good and the price is right, but I had a look around ebay and lbs' for chainrings and 110 bcd is harder to find and more expensive that 4 arm 104 bcd chainrings. Are there any non-road 104 bcd cranks in 172.5mm?

    Experience with Chinese chainrings?

Anyone had any experience with cheap Chinese chainrings like these? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DECKAS-104b ... yd58shW2GQ Are they as durable as other aftermarket rings? Do they actually fit on cranks (I've had US made chainrings that didn't fit on cranks!)?

    Cranks available in 172.5mm?

Re: I've ridden all three lengths and I get on fine with them all, but I find the 172.5 lets me spin at the most comfortable cadence. It is noticeable if you switch between bikes with different cranks frequently.

    Cranks available in 172.5mm?

Hmmm. Are road cranks safe on a mtb? I don't mind modern stuff on my retro mtb, but road components might be a bridge too far! That said, I don't need three chainrings these days.

    Cranks available in 172.5mm?

The old Sugino mighty cranks are starting to show their age at the bb interface, so I'm looking for 172.5mm cranks and wondering what models are available, new or used. I don't care what the bcd or number of arms is, as long as chainrings are easy and cheap to get. None of this XTR...
