    What Raleigh is this?

There is the possibility that it's an SB but obviously need to see the frame number 🤔 What size frame are you looking for, I have a Raleigh Professional MkV and SBDU in 531SL surplus to requirements.

    What Raleigh is this?

The Team Replica models used the Mk7 Professional frame so not the same. Most likely the frame is a Competition, Gran Course or Road Ace with lower spec fork. The full top tube cable guides had probably rusted and been replaced and painted.

    What Raleigh is this?

The Mk7 Professional for 83 got the fastback seat stays but the head lugs were different, full underside cable guides and sloping fork crown, need to see the frame number and dropouts 🤔

    What Raleigh is this?

Mk6 got the diver bell cable guides, shifter bosses and the change from the threaded seat lug that took a single allen bolt to a different seat lug that took a two piece allen bolt fixing 👍..also under bottom bracket cable guides.

    Another DIY rear derailleur cage.

Just checked the lower cage and more wear so maybe the cage was extended again for aiding the upshifts. The jockey wheels and pivot form a 90⁰ 75mm x 30mm L shape if that makes sense 👍

    Another DIY rear derailleur cage.

I have both 1st and 2nd generation, the 2nd gen's had a bit of a harder life, both share the same cage. Looking a the wear on the back of the cages you may need to extend above the jockey wheel as per the original, looks like this aided shifting and chain retention 👍

Raleigh "not a Stratos" any help what frame it is?

Definitely not a Professional frame. They seemed to change the frame models though with the earlier Record Ace frame with the Campagnolo dropouts and mudguard eyes became the Rapide with the short lugs, Vitus dropouts and same fork a yours. It would be a shame to lose the bikes original decals...

Raleigh "not a Stratos" any help what frame it is?

Found another one, same again apart from the fork. This one dates from November 1980 with the we won the Tdf sticker. Have you bought it, how did you manage to find it? Looking forward to hearing about it's history and the stock Raleigh components requisitioned for the build 👍...

Raleigh "not a Stratos" any help what frame it is?

This is part of the German catalogue which I'm sure is for 1983 so one year out showing the Roads Ace has gone aero. The Professional Mk6 frame for the European market, in the UK we got the Mk7 Professional/Team Replica frame with fastback seat stays 👍
