    Falcon Panther

Was he the original owner from new? Any more history about the bike 🤔 Anything stamped on the dropout or is it just flaking paint.

    Falcon Panther

With a badly stamped O it looks more like SO42 and swap the SB4 around and we have a Brockenhurst in the New Forest post code SO42 4SB 🤔

    Falcon Panther

Looking a the lugs, seat stays and dropouts the frame looks much older than the decals, looks like an over paint job, is there a serial number on the left rear dropout 🤔

    1980 Witcomb restoration

Great to see the Witcomb is still going strong, sounds like you've had some great adventures. Loving the new paint and looking forward to seeing it built up in it's new incarnation. Any pictures of the seat lug clamp before and after 👍

    Olympic?

Olympic Cycles was owned and run by Granville Horton, I've got his Raleigh SBDU 753 Dynaflite. The frames by Paul are very nicely built, he was a Reynolds 753 approved builder. I was watching your frame on eBay... you got a cracking deal 👍 Thread 'Olympic Cycles Nottingham...any memories..'...

    Another Raleigh advice thread!

Looks like a good quality repaint for tens years ago as the correct decals have been used, pretty much all of the restorations I've seen going back ten years in the Team livery have the wrong seat tube decals, do you know who painted it? Some more pics and frame number would be great, for a 76-8...

    Another Raleigh advice thread!

Down tube..?? more like seat tube on the fake, with the correct seat tube decal for under a tenner it could have been a far more convincing fake 🤔 https://hlloydcycles.com/collections/raleigh/products/raleigh-team-professional-seat-tube-panel?variant=39275809079385

    753R SBDU TT special - W.Kent

I've got the foil headbadge and single ring but missing the Time Trial on the top tube... maybe it's a wet weather time trial machine, no skin suit required.. just go naked under a cape...🌨️ 😉

    Help identify my raleigh please

Sorry, must have missed one of the pictures of the forks, I can see that they are Vitus dropouts. Another possibility with no headbadge is a BSA Competition 🤔

    The British bike thread

Sadly not mine but was surprised at how many variations I spotted at the Retro Raleigh & Chopper show at Billing a couple of years ago. I showed my 1967 RSW MK1 and SBDU 753 Dynaflite👍

Strangely enough they did do a BSA Chopper... Raleigh did a fair bit of rebranding for world markets 👍

    Help identify my raleigh please

Frame number puts it at December 1982 Nottingham built. Looks like the same frame as the Raleigh Competition 12, Rapide 12 or the Carlton Pro-Am 12. Check for evidence of holes behind the headbadge decal or if filled look inside the head tube...no evidence of holes would suggest it's was a...
