Active ingredient in back to black is naphtha, also known as paraffin. Basically oil. Just saying like. 🤣

plastic is made from oil. when it ages it loses the aromatic portions of the oil, they oxidise. adding oil back to it with peanut butter is adding back some of the aromatics. they might not be the right one's but will make them black again. you could do similar with heat which draws the same...

Peanut butter will sort your plastic parts. Smooth not chunky.
