Re: I know a guy who has a bike shop in Kilbirnie. He hires out ebikes and they seem to be popular. He rides them himself and rates them. Not for me at the moment but maybe when I need a bit of assistance in my old age. For me cycling is about keeping a wee bit fit as well as enjoying the ride.

Stick an old mountainbike triple on just for the day. Might spoil the look of the bicycle but you'll get up the hill :D

Jim , these Konas all seem small. I've had 2 Fire Mountain 2 Lava Domes and a Cinder Cone . They all came up smaller than other makes of bike supposedly of the same size. Great XC bikes for the natural single track. Fast and nimble.
