Hi Lostcause, just to confirm that the bike is one or two up from base model which was Bolinas Ridge or Hawk Hill, I am surprised that it's triple butted however the steel bikes were slightly out of fashion. I would think the V-brakes are an after-fit at this range level/time, I'd guess 98/99...

If my viewing is right, it's carbon fibre mainframe - Finite life. Old Alan's were Aluminium frame, Cyclocross target market. It does look a lovely bike but I wouldn't dare to suggest a value.

If it's any consolation moonlite, I've got a matching set in INNOX stainless in my left fib plus a couple of pins in the ankle - Alps 1982.
