Re: Yep, standard chain round the biggest ring and biggest cog +2 links :wink: Unless you're wanting to fit one of those mega low 40T cogs in which case it's +4 links, no chain alterations for clutch system mechs needed 8)

Re: +1 on 1000DS maybe, does it have anything stamped on it? 1000DS is 6061 alu the lower models are 7005.

Re: Yep, 2001, top caps clockwise adds preload, anti clockwise to back preload off, the bottom adjuster for rebound only moves about half a turn so don't go forcing it, here's a linky to the ones I found myself buying a couple of years ago, viewtopic.php?t=214840 there's a link in that thread...

Re: It will fit 26" with chunky tyres but given that it's non rim brake mountable 24" would also fit I do believe that is the sort of fittings it would need, i'm just not willing to spend money on it or make something to fit as I have absolutely no use for the frame :lol:

Errrmmm, had this kicking around and no idea what to do with it :lol: trials bike? bombproof ride for a small person? comes with a weirdass headset kit to make it 1.1/8th, horizontal dropouts BUT in order to run a rear mech and brake you'd need to find/make some fittings = well beyond me...
