Well we went for a ride in Blairadam, Keith, Kenny and me, hunners of trees down all over woods. Hardly any mud though, everything was frozen. The Chocslide was the only one we could get into at top of forest, blocked all the way along till there as that whole bit faces north. Lots of trees down...

Jeez, that's bad clubby, hope it's on soon. We used to get loads of power cuts in years gone by being out in countryside like you. Glad of all our cooking gear and lights from camping more than a few times. And Keith and Kenny are planning a ride roond Blairadam this afternoon. Might go...

It was called off last night by clubby on the Pitmedden thread, good call really. It's fine now but as he said the chances of coming across wind damage/fallen trees in the dark not good so was agreed best idea to postpone it.

Sorry tae hear ye've still nae power, don't envy the power guys oot in this weather fixing faults. TV signal now restored earlier, aerial re-aligned, nae bother, done winter climbs in way worse conditions...... ;)

Aye, mibbees for the best. Wind has been howling down here and at the moment we've nae TV signal, sniffle, wipes tear from eye, cause aeriel's been turned around. If ye hear reports of an OAP doin' a Rod Hull doon this way, it's maybe me.....

Nae need to brush off the rust, chain lubed after wet rides or bike hosed down after mucky ride. My lights are mostly new but will bring some of old ones too, they were all charged up for last weekend in Cairngorms but not used. Looking like needing to batten down the hatches the morra....

Jeez, just realised I'll need to "prepare" my bike after the weekend up at Badaguish, it's still a "bit" dirty, was just lubed after the rides.

Don't like the sound of "extensive testing" the day before ride, it might mean yer gonnae need backup legs for Saturday.....

Mibbees, feeling better last week or so. Turns out it wasn't a cold, well not entirely, it was an allergy that gradually got worse each day causing the asthma and itchy eyes, runny nose, till I realised what it was and reduced my exposure. Oh and drugs too...
