Marvelous job and the gear you chosen goes well with it. Really like Scott bikes around that period.

Is the gold-yellow bike in your collection a 2000 Stinky by any chance? It was the first fully suspended Kona I bought and it got me hooked. Them were the days when they had crazy bright color schemes and big graphics.

Very fine bikes you have and love the look of them. Glad you still put them to good use. The Primo looks like a war machine!

Here's a pic of my Stab doing the rounds at my local tracks. I 'm really surprised how good the bike and suspension handles for it's age. Great to jump on and pretty responsive through rough tracks. Currently my favourite bike to ride. Only part changed is the seatpost to a Turner brand one...

Quick and cheap way is to change the tires to 2.3 profile from 2.5 tires. Abit lighter and easier to pedal around. Could change the forks to same period Marzocchi Super T forks if the budget allows it.

I managed to get a hold of these after Heavyp who gave me the heads up of a pair of orange Mr T's for sale locally. Really good condition and price for their age. After a few months hunting for forks they're are coming out of the woodwork! May use these as backup or if another frame comes up.

Thanks - the seatpost is the right way round. Suppose it's the angle of the seat. Like most BMXers I don't bother sitting when riding it. :D I think Kona made BMX bikes for a couple of seasons around 2000 -2001. Good bikes but no BMX heritage like Haro or Mongoose so not popular for them to...

Today I received a pair of Mr T's in the post so in the next couple weeks the bike should be completed - "Crazy Fool!" In the mean time I built a 2000 Kona Kuku bmxer. Frame was new old stock from UK built with newer parts. Forks are Marzocchi DJ bmx type made between 2001 to 2005 or something.
