Thanks for the reply, I can't make the image file small enough to download. I'm guessing it's a 70's bike from the colour - Fords and BL cars came in bronze/brown then.

I've just bought a Dawes, but not anything like the ones in the scanned catalogues. It has a 25.5" frame, colour is bronze, no transfers or panels except for "Dawes" written in italic block capitals either side of the front downtube, "Dawes Stainless Steel" on the front mudguard, and a union...
