What are your retro bike plans for 2024.

I have been in and out of hospital and now back on Dialysis, so I have finally bought a frame I've always wanted since school. A Pace RC200 F5. I remember seeing it as a 15 year old and was in awe! Here is the build so far.

Back home after 10 years!!! RC200 F4 "The Brit Build"

Thats a stunner. I did see the photos from Malvern on the FB group. Out of curiosity, is that one of Dan's stems? If so, what length and angle?

I also bought this XTR group set to go on the bike once tidied up. Chain-set and brake levers are surplus to requirements, so will be selling those.

Pace RC200 F5 - Yeah, that one on eBay!

Sorry for the long wait, I have had a few hospital visits over the past few months. (on-going unfortunately) On the plus side, I've made some progress on the Pace RC200 F5 build! Here is a photo dump of whats gone on. I have all parts to build it up now, so that will be next on the cards

Can anyone confirm there is a longer travel Pace MXC fork? Is that what the MXCD is? I am building an F5 and im sure they were what would be fitted?

    For Sale 1999 Orange Gringo

Bought to be nostalgic, as I had one brand new BITD, but due to a recent separation, its now surplus to requirements. 1999 Orange Gringo Medium 17/18" Changed a few bits to bring up to a usable, ride able standard (Headset, Tyres, Saddle & new brakes) Ideally needs new decals to make near...

Love it, you've made me buy another one, a 1992 though, but standard. Just a tidy up, service and some fresh decals. I miss having a do it all bike in the garage!

Pace RC200 F5 - Yeah, that one on eBay!

Thanks mate. Unfortunately I won’t be better without another transplant really. I have a few irons in the fire with mates that have come forward to see if there a match.

Pace RC200 F5 - Yeah, that one on eBay!

Thanks! Yeah, it was always inevitable as a transplant isn’t forever. I just had a spate of stupid infections and pneumonia last November that did a bit too much damage to it unfortunately. Such is life eh! It’s 4 year today since I had it too.

Pace RC200 F5 - Yeah, that one on eBay!

A quick update of parts that have recently arrived for the build. I had to pop them on today as I’m getting itchy feet, and I was feeling up to it. Reason being, is that I have recently had to start Dialysis again as my Kidney Transplant has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. Such is life!
