The latest purchase - 1992 Raleigh Dyna-Tech Diablo

Yes it does, thankfully! That was my first thing to do when I got it home lastnight. That, and remove the accessories off it!

The latest purchase - 1992 Raleigh Dyna-Tech Diablo

After selling my near mint 1992 Raleigh Dyna-Tech Diablo in 2021, I have always yearned after another one. As of yesterday, I have managed to buy another one! Not a patch on my other I had, but a decent base bike to get up to something like that level at least. I drove from Lincoln to near...

Day off "Get your head sorted" ride out

Its a good off the road cycle path to be fair. Easy going, and no real inclines. A good mind clearer!

    2000 Raleigh RSP 250

Well, another Raleigh has joined the collection! This time, a 2000 Raleigh RSP 250 frame, complete with Judy XC suspension, via eBay. The plans for it? Currently put on the rack with the other frames I have to build up! For now... I dont plan to put this back to standard though, so watch...

Day off "Get your head sorted" ride out

Thanks all for your kind words. God knows what it wrong with me at the moment, probably just a combination of busy days at work, and lack of sunshine...along with the biking!

Day off "Get your head sorted" ride out

Well, I’m back from my ride out to try and clear my head a bit, y’know, get rid of the demons in there that eat away at me! Managed a decent (for me, who hasnt done ride for about 6/7 months) 22 miles, or just over. Not a bad way to spend a day off I guess. I decided to take my £40 1998...

    1966 Dawes Kingpin Sprint

Yeah. Very unique in lots of ways from a standard KP. The Bluemels pump came off my 1967 Kingpin that’s currently having a refresh too!

    1966 Dawes Kingpin Sprint

If it wasn’t as rare, I’d certainly go down that route! This has its original Middlemore saddle too, so that will get refreshed and stay.

    Kona Hahanna 1998

Yes, the 1998 LX set. Sorry, I should have said! The Tomac Maguras are definitely staying, I'm impressed with how solid they feel. and I cant agree more on the levers!

    Kona Hahanna 1998

If I didn't have the LX set spare, I'd look at STX-RC as its enough of an upgrade too, for the level of the frame I guess. I'll see what pops up, if its cheap enough, I may go down that route

    Kona Hahanna 1998

Yeah, I get what your saying. The Alivio/Altus that is on it wouldn't be so bad sat in the parts bin though really, to have a cheap upgrade.

    1966 Dawes Kingpin Sprint

I think this will be the right section for this rare bike I own! This is my 1966 Dawes Kingpin Sprint. A rare bike when all is said and done, and I only know of 1 other up to now, and that's on the Dawes Kingpin Facebook page. They wasn't a big seller in all fairness, and only made in 1966...

    Kona Hahanna 1998

Morning all. Gave the 1998 Kona Hahanna a run out on Sunday, as I seem to have been spending all my spare time on my 1992 Raleigh Off Road Series range of late. Im loving the fact its a bike I can just use without thinking too much about it I also managed to apply a couple of Retro Bike...
