USE Alien Carbon seatpost - Torque setting

No idea on the actual torque setting but I've found you really don't have to do the 3mm allen bolt up very tight for it to hold the saddle securely so don't go mad tightening it up.

    Forking FOX forks.

I don't know whether my opinion will help or not but having 3 sets of Revs (2x 140 mo control dual air & 1x black box 150 solo air), what I will say is the difference between the motion control versions and the black box versions is way more than I expected... Motion controls seem quite 'boingy'...

Clark Kent F12 Titanium (Medium) - SOLD

Hi all, Right, I've had this frame sat up in the loft for about a year now and I can't bear to see such a good frame go to waste on me... So anyone looking for a rare, incredibly good condition and great quality frame keep reading... My original build thread is here...

I've got a couple and very nice headsets.... Very smooth indeed (as you'd expect) and generally a nice quality for the price. Cheers.

    Charge splashbacks

I've been running a 1.8 rear (theres not alot of rear clearance on the goat even with 2.1's) & 2.1 front after reading a few peoples opinions off here and really like them, very nice all rounders for general riding so would thoroughly recommend anyone thinking about them to get some. Just to...

    Cannondale Lefty

I swapped the headshok for a Lefty Jake on mine and love it. Add that to a modern Fox RP23 rear shock and it's one of the nicest riding bikes I've been on :).

    KLEIN Mantra BB cable routing

Very kind of you to say 8) .... I know it's not going to be to everyones tastes how I build my bikes but I like mixing old and new. That shipping is quite high if it's just for the frame, although it won't ever be cheap. And don't forget that theres always the potential to get hit with import...

    Look what my missus found...

Oh they weren't mine to begin with obviously... I'm only 24 you know  I heard about VHS through reading on the interweb.... Honest!

    Look what my missus found...

I found two of them clearing out my old bedroom at home last week amongst a bunch of other Mountain Biking UK and mtb derived VHS's from the good'ol days :D

    Pauls Components

Yep, really rate them..... Good modulation, great power and pretty easy to set up. Got Paul levers on a couple of bikes as the blade face is quite thick and suits my long fingers. There are a couple of places over here selling them... One place in the East end (Brick Lane Bikes) and Tokyo...

    1992 Funk Pro Comp - Update 18/07/11

Progress has been sloooooooooooooow. Work, rebuilding a couple of my other bikes, house renovation and moving mean't I totally forgot about this, then my mate getting loads of chrome work in (full size C3PO anyone lol), so it's been longer than planned. The frame is chromed and I'm picking...

    Turner 5 spot... any good?

I'm using RockShox RLT ti 150's that feel great. They do have the 130mm option and even that feels waaaaaaaay to steep.

    Turner 5 spot... any good?

I've got a 2005 and absolutely love it! I'm only light so used a fair few xc bits from another bike but even though a few have said it should be built as a hard hitter it's still a great bike, can't recommend it enough :).

    2005 Turner 5 Spot - Finished update Pg. 3

A little update on the 5 Spot... Some comfier grips with the Oury's and swapped the TRP levers with a set of Pauls. The TRP's didn't feel that great with the BB7's where as the Paul's feel very strong and positive. Will use the TRP's on my Funk along with the Goodridge hoses which have been...
