No idea on the actual torque setting but I've found you really don't have to do the 3mm allen bolt up very tight for it to hold the saddle securely so don't go mad tightening it up.

I don't know whether my opinion will help or not but having 3 sets of Revs (2x 140 mo control dual air & 1x black box 150 solo air), what I will say is the difference between the motion control versions and the black box versions is way more than I expected... Motion controls seem quite 'boingy'...

I swapped the headshok for a Lefty Jake on mine and love it. Add that to a modern Fox RP23 rear shock and it's one of the nicest riding bikes I've been on :).

Very kind of you to say 8) .... I know it's not going to be to everyones tastes how I build my bikes but I like mixing old and new. That shipping is quite high if it's just for the frame, although it won't ever be cheap. And don't forget that theres always the potential to get hit with import...

Yep, really rate them..... Good modulation, great power and pretty easy to set up. Got Paul levers on a couple of bikes as the blade face is quite thick and suits my long fingers. There are a couple of places over here selling them... One place in the East end (Brick Lane Bikes) and Tokyo...

I'm using RockShox RLT ti 150's that feel great. They do have the 130mm option and even that feels waaaaaaaay to steep.

I've got a 2005 and absolutely love it! I'm only light so used a fair few xc bits from another bike but even though a few have said it should be built as a hard hitter it's still a great bike, can't recommend it enough :).

A little update on the 5 Spot... Some comfier grips with the Oury's and swapped the TRP levers with a set of Pauls. The TRP's didn't feel that great with the BB7's where as the Paul's feel very strong and positive. Will use the TRP's on my Funk along with the Goodridge hoses which have been...
