SOLD
Specialized S-Works M2 Team Edition frame. Frame measures 18" center of the BB shell to top of the seat tube and 16.75" center to center of the seat tube. Top tube is ~21.5", C to C.
Very good shape for its age and considering it was known to lose paint if you looked at it...
Re:
Plus one for the SRAM 850 cassette. I'm running at least four bikes with them. Throw on a 970 chain and it's the business. Cheap, look great, and readily available.
Frank, are you looking for the aftermarket springs then? Like 'speed springs' or something like that? I've seen 'em from time to time on ebay, but I'm sure you already looked there. I just ordered the insanely expensive elastomer kit for my '95 Judy SL... 65$ for a few inches of squishy tubing...
Post of pic or I don't believe you :P
J/K: Cool to hear. Can't recall ever seeing one. But I know I've drooled over your RM Ti... so I must've seen it.
Have you ever seen a grey perforated Flite? I haven't. I own three or four grey Flites and two or three black perforated Flites... but never grey AND perforated. Just curious.
I picked up this 1992 S-Works Team Edition frame a week or so ago on FleaBay. Bought it as a complete bike and tore it down this weekend. Here's what it looks like as a bare frame.
I know Ned and co. rode these BITD. I've seen a few of the old marketing ads and I've seen AmyBrooke's (sic?)...
Great guy to deal with. Sold him a Syncros stem while he was still recovering from a fall...didn't slow him down a bit. Great comms and always very friendly and very fast to reply to emails (despite being on the opposite side of the planet).
cheers mate.
Re: Kona Explosif 1997 team edition: epic bike, epic trails P21
I need to get out of North America more often!
How's the Z2 holding up after the rebuild? Still plush, I hope?
Happy to start off a feedback thread for F.R.O. Absolute class act guy to deal with, sold some small chain ring bolts to him but always felt like it was a much more important deal. Really a pleasure to communicate with.
Re:
Coves are/were cool...although their model names were a bit juvenile (stiffee, handjob, peeler, g-spot, STD, hooker, etc).
Assume yours is a Stiffee?
I see you're in New Brunswick, too!?? I graduated from UNB. My mom lives in Fredericton.
Re: Ringle mojo green, SRP green chainrings bolts and chainrings
apologies for the delay. I'll PM you for a regular email address or mobile number. Snapped a few pics with my phone but it's a pain to reduce them and load them here.
