Brooks saddles and sit bone question.

As a kid I had a B17 on my track bike which I used for my paper delivery round. Of coarse one day it pi55ed down and I must have got on and off the bike 20 or 30 times so the saddle was waterlogged but after that it fitted me perfectly. :) About 10 years ago I was given a dried out Books...

My journey in retro MTBs since moving to Spain 2 months a go (3 bikes!)

The five year rule is a new one to me so I'm shure you will investigate further. I expected the systems to be different but I find the rules to be difficult to say the least. When I first came here I paid less income tax than when in the UK, but now the reverse is true. Any way I hope that you...

My journey in retro MTBs since moving to Spain 2 months a go (3 bikes!)

Just an update on dmok's post, You can apply for a "Permiso De Residencia" card which will allow you to stay for more than 90 days, you can also then use it to travel freely within the EU. It's a bit of a palava to get, involving Spanish Language forms, fingerprints and mugshots plus two visits...

    Sorted Rocky Mountain jersey Medium

Hi, If you are still looking I have one of these in condition 8 or 9 out of ten, the colours are still vibrant with just the smallest mark on the front with no bobbles or tears plus the zip works fine. The label states size L / G but I would say it is a medium. I think it was bought from 18...

    Decoding Marin frame numbers.

All in all, that would mean that a 1994 "frame", with the 1994 stamp, can actually be a 1993, 1994 or 1995 model. Oh boy! Just enjoy the ride  .

Help with Marin frame numbers please!

Have you tried "painting" the Serial Number with Tipex it works treat, (if you can till get it).

    Another frame saved? YES.

Many thanks, the doaner bike was a 69er too, the bigger front wheel seem to take care of holes and rubble better, I don't care about the rear wheel size though. The only downside is a bigger turning circle with the 29" front wheel. Went for a shakedown ride yesterday with only a front brake...

    Another frame saved? YES.

The picture doesn't do the colour justice as its more a loud purple, I don't think I'll get this one under the radar though. Also some pictures of the bike standing up, nearly finished.
