    Another frame saved? YES.

I collected the frame today just in time as many firms are closed for the month of August. The first thing was to check that the wheel sat in the frame true, ___ all good so the frame swap can move on. Nothing rusts here but old habits die hard so the inside was treated to a good squirt of...

    Another frame saved? YES.

It's no secret that I like On Ones so I jumped at the chance to save this 18" 456 frame from the tip. It looks like the rear mech has been pushed into the spokes at some time resulting in a bent drive side dropout. It has been straightened but the 'jaws' are now too wide to hold the QR tightly...

    Bikes and Bridges

I've ridden past this several times thinking it was part of Spain's industrial past only to discover it is a Roman aqueduct . It appears to be still in use, shurly not though.

    Specialized M2 Info Thread/Serial Registry

Great thread for these great frames ,thanks Neko. Here's my '99 Comp in what looks like German Racing Silver, I've only ever seen one other in this colour on the MTBR thread for these frames. I bought mine from Holland and the other is from the USA so not shure if the colour is specific to one...

Thanks, If I remove the unecessary bits and add a carbon bar a sub 20lb 18 inch framed bike is possible, or I could just eat less. :) Good luck with the build, looking forward to seeing it finished.

These are great frames to ride so certainly worth your time to restore. Can't do links but I recently posted my SS M2 here.

    Great big Singlespeed thread!

Thanks, the M2 frame was bought on here from double EF of this parish some years ago, my first Specy. I think I may have been missing out on something all of this time. The On One frame has had quite a past. Initially my mate and his girlfriend (now wife) bought two for a three month...

    Today's Ride

Thanks. Yeh, it's just like a moon scape. We haven't seen rain worth the name for about a year now (Southern Spain) so the surface is quite deep in very fine dust which makes turning and downhill braking a challenge. Not complaining though. :)

    Great big Singlespeed thread!

Here's my current two....A pre production On One 456 with the hose and cable guides on the "wrong" side of the top tube. and a '99 stumpy M2, the best climber I've ever ridden.
