    Campag Shamal or Vento question

I had a pair of Shamal for a couple of months. They can be very aero but as long as I was not doing TT but more touring with ups & down hills, I found them very heavy. Nice looking wheels but harsh to ride. Sold them fast and replaced with low profile open pro's. I presume vento's will be...

help with campy 8 speed cassette replacement

Thanks, I do not know much about campy, I've always been more fan of Shimano. I was not aware I can not swap the 7 speed cassette with an 8 speed one. So end of the story, I'll go slower ... This is the hub and cassette, and the Olmo finishing the restoring process... Group is 91-94, with...

help with campy 8 speed cassette replacement

I have a 7 campy cassete I want to upgrade to 8 speed , 32 cogg. I know 7 to 8 speed is not an issue as spacing is the same (I've got 8 speed shifter already), but I'm having difficulties finding a 8 speed campy or compatble cassete with biggest coog 32t. I've seen the miche ones, but it seems...

Olmo catalog from early 90's ?

Thanks ! here there are some pics. From google research I'd say could be an Olmo Competition, but it's just my best guess, as I'm not familiar with Olmo brand. So any help to determine frame model would be appreciated!

Olmo catalog from early 90's ?

Can anyone help me please to get a Olmo catalog from late 80's or early 90's. I have an Olmo with c-record 7 speed indexed groupset and cobalto brakes presumably from that period, but I can not identify model /tubing. Thanks!

    Paletti frame, next project

Re: Paletti's are very very expensive and hard to find but in my opinion, that frame is a piece of art, built with the best materials... And superb paint; pearl white with blue deails and the exact ammount of chrome.... Did you notice this is one of my dreamed frames ? Congrats for the project!!

Disassembly Dura Ace ST-7400 shifter ?

Right, removing the lever is easy, and that allowed me to polish one part with nice results. I was not sure if to remove the front cap I need the special tool, but reading your comment it seems not, so I'll give a it a try again. This is the other piece I need to sand the chrome and polish...
