Any experience with "griplock" or top nuts assembled with tiny allen-head bolts horizontally, so they can grip (and slightly damage it of course) the steerer and thus secure the locknut in place? I know it's a futile attempt but may be a help against loosening. re the topic: alu, bonded tubes...

Check the frame for cracks, or unusal noises when ridden. Remove the seatpost, turn the bike upside down, no rust coming out-->you're all good. I'd swap the seatpost to a respected brand' titanium one and woud try to find a suspension corrected triple-butted Spinner or Ritchey (Tange-made) Logic...

Nice one, but Pana tires on a Ritchey even it's a fake one-heresy I say!😏☺️
