    Rocky Mountain Experience

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-mountain-bike/st ... nFlag=true There is simply no way I can swing this right now, so if there's anyone interested in Canada, I can go check it out.

    2001 Rocky Mountain Reaper

This looks like it'll be a winner. I've always been a big fan of the white/black '00 Reaper. Do you have a build thread for the TO DH? nevermind, I found it.

    1990 Mammoth RC201

Friday night I decided I would ride this bike this weekend. Unfortunately, that was the beer talking. Using my budget headset installer, I was able to fairly easily press one bearing in. Amazingly, one of the washers it came with just fit inside the BB without getting stuck. It also just...

1992 Rocky Mountain Cirrus (First Post)

Very nice bike! And nice to see someone else from the Prairies here. As of right now, the top eight -->1997 rider's bikes are all Canadian...

Re: Rocky Mountain Question? There is still this listing for a Sherpa in Prince George; http://www.kijiji.ca/v-mountain-bike/pr ... nFlag=true Looks very much like both the '82 and the '85 in these pictures - hard to say what year it is.

    1990 Mammoth RC201

I was feeling pretty good today, so I decided to mock it up. The fork is from an old Fisher, the stem from an old Nishiki, and that poor Flite is pretty messed up. It's also green. Still no BB though. I'm tempted to leave it unfinished like this, but I'm also considering dark red.

    Unknown Rocky Mountain

Nice - I love the old thread there where the guy maintained that the Team Comp didn't exist. Definitely a Team Comp - the colours and decals match. Funny though that it has that Tange fork instead of the Scott. I've missed all kinds of Canadian action on here lately!

    Unknown Rocky Mountain

Discussing it on the board here? I wondered if it wasn't a Team Comp, but I figured they would have had better parts.

I believe the MSR bikes eventually became Alpinestars? There is a fantastic post on the board somewhere that covers the whole story.

    Unknown Rocky Mountain

I imagine it's sold already, but what is it? http://www.kijiji.ca/v-mountain-bike/ve ... nFlag=true The seller says it's steel, but you can't see the model name. The parts look like DX, and the '91 Equipe had all three cables on the left side of the top tube. Plus the tubing type matches -...

    1994 Merlin Titanium

Re: 1994 Merlin Titanium (my Unicorn) I know someone that would LOVE that Bontrager fork if you're not using it anymore...

    Steve Bauer Zonda

http://calgary.en.craigslist.ca/bik/4522458952.html It's not particularly good - 4130 frame, 400EX components - but it's in stunning condition. I've always been a big Bauer fan, and always wished that his bikes had been better.

    AVID ARCH SUPREME V BRAKE

Yup. That little knob at the top of the arch (or the bottom in this case) you would loosen, then you could set the pads on either side of the rim at the same distance from the rim. I installed a set of these for a buddy BITD - I don't know that I can think of another MTB part made this well...

    Quite a bike lot!

madness. intriguing collection, but how many people have the desire and the funds to take the entire lot off his hands?

That one bike you'll probably never own but would die for

First thing that comes to mind is the American Beryllium. But then I wonder if I'd even dare to ride it. What I would really like to find is a Coggs Frameworks. These were made in Calgary, but that's really all I know about them. I saw a couple of hardtails back in the day, and they were...

    Rocky Mountain Roundup!

I imagine the BC kids here have already seen these, but just in case; '86 Transpo in Cranbrook http://www.kijiji.ca/v-mountain-bike/cr ... nFlag=true Sherpa in Prince George http://www.kijiji.ca/v-mountain-bike/pr ... nFlag=true '91 Blizzard in Cranbrook...

    1998 Dekerf Team ST

I don't actually recall what size it is, but that would be the solution for sure. I just need to bring the drive side crank arm inboard a bit. I haven't dropped the chain yet riding it around, but I also haven't put it in the smallest gear just in case.

    1998 Dekerf Team ST

I would have preferred black, but those are hard to come by. The white one was cheap from On One, probably because they can't sell them!

    1990 Mammoth RC201

I'm looking forward to seeing yours with fresh paint. About the BB, I found this today; http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Bottom-Bracket-T ... 86c&_uhb=1 If I'm reading that right, that guy can get/make one in whatever size I need. I'll have to get my hands on a caliper, but once I do, this would be...

    1998 Dekerf Team ST

I finally had all the parts, and the time, for this project, which I intend to use as a commuter. It's a little unusual, but this bike has had a hard life, and I believe it deserves a dignified retirement. I picked this up for a song two summers ago. It was supposed to be a song that is...
