    All 853 were hand made in Raleigh Special Products at Nottingham. The A-Pro alloy frames were also fantastic. A-Pro have made frames for many "American" brands. As to the weight, short of stripping it down..... pass.

    If it was completly yellow with red decals and had a Gunmetal Judy C LT 80 mm, it was a 1999 300.

    If it was yellow with a grey and red flame to the head and chainstay ends, with a yellow Judy XC 100mm, it was a 300 from 2000. The 400 was white with red/blue flame ends. Same frame.

    It's really stiff, but not dead like alloy. The forks, chainstays and rear stays are bonded Reynolds 753.
